How Can You Be More Fit and Balanced With Vinyasa Yoga?
Vinyasa Yoga: A Practice that Gets You Fit
Vinyasa
yoga is a kind of yoga that is more like aerobics. The movements are fast and
upbeat, so it's a good workout for your heart and lungs, too. You can combine
Vinyasa yoga with other cardio activities, like running or walking on the
treadmill. If you have just started out practicing Vinyasa yoga, you might
notice that your muscles get sore. But once you're used to being flexible and
in tune with the flow of your poses, things will get easier. Vinyasa yoga works
on all parts of your body—your arms, legs and stomach muscles get stronger when
you do this breath-synchronized form of exercise.

together but keep your heels open. Inhale as you raise your arms overhead,
exhale and lower down with flat feet.
Tree
Pose: Tree pose, also known as Vrikshasana, is a balancing posture that is
excellent for aligning your body. Stand with your feet together and arms at
your sides. Bend the right knee and grasp the inside of your right thigh with
both hands. Inhale as you raise your arms overhead in a prayer position, then
exhale and fold forward at the hips (keeping the spine straight) until you are
